Fannin County recently released information about individuals who were indicted last month.

A 20-year-old Ector man was indicted last week on three counts of intoxicated manslaughter in connection with a wreck that claimed the lives of a pregnant woman, her unborn child and two-year-old son in August.

Keagan Hunter Cannaday also faces two charges of intoxicated assault with serious bodily injury with a vehicle.

The indictments are formal charges and are not considered as evidence of guilt.

Previously published reports show that authorities allege that Cannaday was driving east in his truck at a high rate of speed when he drove into the westbound lane crashing into a truck towing a trailer loaded with wood.

Texas Highway Patrol Staff Sgt. Mark Tackett told reporters that, Arnulfo Alvarez of Sulfur Springs, was driving the truck loaded with wood and that she and her three-year-old son were both taken to area hospitals.

Alvarez’s wife, Juana Alvarez, was seven months pregnant at the time of the wreck. Juana Alvarez, the unborn child and the two-year-old son Lucas were all pronounced dead at the scene.

Also indicted this week was Angela Conzales, 45, of Savoy on four counts of forgery of a financial instrument.
