Domestic disturbance — Officers were dispatched Aug. 24 to the 100 block of West Murray in reference to a domestic disturbance. The female victim stated her fiance’ grabbed her and pushed her out of the house, causing minor injuries. The suspect fled prior to officers’ arrival. A case will be presented to the Grayson County District Attorney’s Office.
Driving while intoxicated — Officers responded Aug. 23 to the call of a motor vehicle crash at Woodlawn and Flowers. A male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
Assault — Officers responded Aug. 24 to a disturbance in the 600 block of West Monterey. The male victim stated a relative he has been living with wanted him to leave the residence and started pushing him and choking him. The male suspect was arrested for causing bodily injury/family violence/impeding breath.
Burglary of a vehicle — A male victim stated Aug. 24 an unknown suspect entered his vehicle in the 700 block of West Murray and took a backpack containing a handgun.
Driving while intoxicated — Officers responded Aug. 24 to the call of a motor vehicle crash in the 4100 block of FM 120 West. A male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated 2nd offense.
Burglary of a habitation — A female victim reported Aug. 26 a male she knows yanked a window unit air conditioner out of a window in her residence in the 700 block of West Bond, causing the window to break. The suspect left the scene without the air conditioner. The investigation will continue.
Outstanding warrants — An officer stopped a vehicle Aug. 26 for a traffic violation in the 6800 block of North US Highway 75. The male driver was arrested for outstanding city of Denison warrants.
Theft of property — Dispatch received a call Aug. 27 regarding a theft in the 1000 block of North Travis. Officers arrived, and the suspect was still on the scene. The suspect was taken into custody for theft under $100 with previous convictions.
Abandoned/found property — Officers were dispatched Aug. 27 to a business in the 4100 block of Texoma Parkway in reference to abandoned/found property. The manager of the business reported a firearm was found in a vehicle that was returned
Harassment — A female entered the police department lobby Aug. 27 to report she was being harassed by her ex-boyfriend. Upon investigation, it was learned the ex-boyfriend was harassing the female through unwanted electronic communications. A report for harassment was generated.
Burglary of a vehicle — A male complainant made telephone contact Aug. 28 with the public safety administrator. He stated an unknown suspect made entry into his unlocked vehicle parked at his residence in the 1400 block of Hillcrest Drive. A report for burglary of a vehicle was generated.
Found property — An officer was dispatched Aug. 28 to the 600 block of East Richards in reference to found property. Upon arrival and investigation, money and drugs were located in the front yard and confiscated. A report was taken, and the case is under investigation.
Hit and run accident — An officer was dispatched Aug. 28 to a hit and run accident in the 2400 block of Texoma Parkway. The officer spoke with the complainant and observed fresh damage to the victim’s vehicle. The complainant advised the other vehicle had fled the scene before officer arrival. An offense report was generated.
Possession — An officer was dispatched Aug. 28 to the 1800 block of Texoma Parkeay in reference to an unresponsive female in the driver’s seat of a vehicle. The officer arrived on scene and made contact with the vehicle. He then deployed his K-9 to open air sniff around the vehicle. The K-9 alerted to the vehicle, and contraband was found inside the vehicle. The driver was arrested for possession of a controlled substance less than one ounce and a report was generated.
Criminal mischief — A male victim stated Aug. 28 an unknown suspect drilled holes in the fuel tanks of four different vehicles on his lot in the 3700 block of SH 91 and drained the fuel. The investigation will continue.
Burglary of a habitation — A male complainant reported Aug. 28 an unknown suspect stole his 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle from his enclosed garage in the 2700 block of West Washington. He is also missing a handgun from inside the residence.
Burglary of a residence — A male complainant stated Aug. 28 a male entered his residence in the 2600 block of Easy Street, possibly throuogh a garage door. When the suspect saw the complainant, he fled back out through the garage door. Nothing is missing from the residence. The investigation will continue.
