Forgery — Officers responded May 28 to the report of forgery in the 1200 block of North Travis. The female victim met up with the suspect she met on Facebook Marketplace and sold her a diamond ring. The suspect provided ten counterfeit $100 bills to the victim and fled the scene. A report was completed for forgery of government instrument/money.

Found property — An officer was dispatched May 22 to the 1900 block of North Grand in reference to the finding of possible narcotics. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with a citizen who found a small baggie containing a white powder. The caller did not want children in the area to find it. The baggie was collected to be destroyed, and a report for found property was filed.

Found property — Officers were informed May 22 of a found wallet during a traffic stop in the 100 block of South East Street. The owner could not be located, and the property was collected for safekeeping. A report for found property was generated.

DWI/open container — An officer conducted a traffic stop May 28 in the 3500 block of East US Highway 82. The male driver exhibited signs of intoxication and admitted to consuming multiple alcoholic beverages prior to the traffic stop. Standard field sobriety tests were administered and the driver was found to be intoxicated. An open container containing an alcoholic beverage was found in the vehicle. The driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated with open container.

Illegal dumping — Officers were dispatched May 28 to the 200 block of North Tolbert Avenue in reference to illegal dumping. The female reporting party advised a couch was dumped into an alley west of her residence. A description of two male suspects was provided. A report was generated for illegal dumping from 5-500 pounds.

Terroristic threat — Officers responded May 28 to a disturbance in the 4800 block of Highgrove Drive. Upon arrival, they spoke with all involved parties. The investigation concluded there was a neighborly dispute. A female claimed there had been a terroristic threat. A report for the incident was generated.

Driving while intoxicated — Officers were dispatched May 29 to the area of East Taylor Street and Loy Lake Road regarding a two-vehicle accident. Upon arrival, one of the drivers they spoke with appeared to be intoxicated. Field sobriety tests were administered which confirmed the driver was intoxicated. He was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
