Grayson County grand jurors returned indictments this week against a host of people charged with crimes against children. The indictments are formal charges and not an indication of guilty.


Jack Akins, 64, of Sadler was indicted on eight counts including one of continuous sexual abuse of a child, one aggravated sexual assault of a child, four counts of sexual assault of a child and two counts of indecency with a child sexual contact.


Jeron Taylor, 19, of Howe was also indicted for two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child.


Laura Sloan, 43, of Denison was indicted for one count of continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14.


James Mosley, 48, of Mead, Oklahoma was indicted on seven counts of possession of child pornography.


Steven Sloan, 55, of Denison was indicted on three counts of possession of child pornography and one count of continuous sexual assault of a child.


Trudy Ater, 32, of Gordonville was indicted on three counts of injury to a child, elderly with intentional serious bodily injury.


Jacob Farr, 24, of Gordonville was indicted on three counts of injury to a child or elderly with intentional serious bodily injury.


Haley Hill, 20, of Pottsboro was indicted for abandoning or endangering a child criminally neglect.
