Criminal mischief — An officer was dispatched March 22 to the 1800 block of North U.S. Highway 75 to speak with a female victim about damage done to her vehicle. An occupant in a different vehicle became upset with the complainant and threw a beverage can at her vehicle, causing damage. A report was generated for criminal mischief from $100-$750.
No driver’s license — Officers stopped a vehicle March 22 in the 1700 block of East Lamar Street. The driver was unlicensed and was ultimately arrested for no driver’s license.
Possession — Officers stopped a vehicle March 23 in the 100 block of Sunset Boulevard. During a probable cause search of the vehicle they located a personal amount of marijuana. A report for possession of marijuana less than two ounces was completed.
Burglary of a vehicle — An officer was dispatched March 24 to the 1600 block of North Highland Avenue in reference to a vehicle having been burglarized. Upon further investigation, it was learned property, including a firearm, was stolen from an unlocked vehicle. A report was generated for burglary of a vehicle and theft of a firearm.
Assault — Officers responded March 24 to a disturbance in the 2100 block of Texoma Parkway. Upon arrival, they learned common-law subjects were having an argument. One subject claimed he was struck by the other. A report for assault causing bodily injury/family violence was generated.
Possession — An officer conducted a traffic stop March 24 in the 2400 block of Texoma Parkway. Narcotics were detected during the initial contact of the traffic stop. A search of the vehicle followed and narcotics were found. A passenger in the vehicle admitted the narcotics belonged to them. A female suspect was arrested for possession of a controlled substance from four to 200 grams.
Driving while intoxicated — An officer performed a traffic stop March 25 on a vehicle in the 3500 block of Texoma Parkway. The male driver exhibited multiple signs of intoxication and was arrested for driving while intoxicated. A report was filed for driving while intoxicated.
Assault — Dispatch received a call March 25 reporting an assault near the intersection of College and Broughton streets. A female victim stated her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend confronted her at the intersection and assaulted her. A report for assault causing bodily injury was completed.
Criminal mischief — A reporting party made telephone contact March 25 with the public safety administrator regarding criminal mischief. The complainant stated a known party caused damage to property at a business located in the 2400 block of Texoma Parkway. A report for criminal mischief from $100-$750 was filed.
Burglary of a vehicle — A male victim made telephone contact March 25 with the public safety administrator in reference to a theft. The complainant stated an unknown suspect(s) made entry into his unlocked vehicle while it was parked at his residence in the 400 block of West Pelton Street. The suspect stole property from the vehicle. A report for burglary of a vehicle was generated.
Assault by contact — Officers responded March 25 to the report of an assault in the 2600 of Cornerstone. A female victim stated she had been touched inappropriately and was offended by the contact. A report was completed for assault by contact.
Retaliation — A female victim stated March 25 she was threatened by a relative because she had contacted police about a disturbance that had occurred earlier. She stated she believes the relative will try to harm her. The investigation will continue and a case will be forwarded to the Grayson County District Attorney’s Office.
Suspicious person —Officers responded March 25 to the call of a group of people walking around vehicles in the 300 block of West Morton. A female suspect was arrested for public intoxication and resisting arrest/detention.
Theft — A complainant stated March 25 an unknown suspect(s) stole a reciprocating saw and battery from a construction site in the 5000 block of Convention Way.
Criminal mischief — A male victim reported March 25 an unknown suspect(s) damaged his vehicle in the 1600 block of South Austin by scratching the paint down to the metal in several areas of the vehicle.
Burglary of a building — A complainant stated March 25 an unknown suspect(s) entered a storage area and removed a projector, wireless microphones and laptop. The investigation will continue.
Criminal mischief — A male victim stated March 26 an unknown suspect(s) damaged his vehicle in the 1000 block of West Elm by striking it with some type of object(s) causing damage to several areas of the vehicle.
Traffic stop — An officer observed a vehicle March 26 being driven by a male with outstanding Grayson County warrants. The vehicle was stopped. The male driver was arrested for the outstanding warrants and his female passenger was arrested for no seat belt.
