Drivers in both Grayson and Fannin counties are being advised to be aware of changing traffic patterns and potential travel delays as Texas Department of Transportation crews conduct weekly road improvement projects.

In an emailed release detailing the projects, the agency encouraged drivers to avoid distractions such as cellphones and navigation systems and drive with added caution when traveling through affected areas.

“Motorists are advised to remain alert and pay special attention to all signs, barricades and traffic controls, and reduce their speed as they approach and travel through work zones,” the statement read.

Work schedules and completion dates may be affected by weather.
