Holiday shoppers are running short on time to get those packages out as shipping companies have posted deadlines to get shipments delivered in time for Christmas.

UPS is delivering packages on Monday, Christmas Eve, that have to be dropped off at a UPS location by Friday.

The UPS Store in Sherman will close at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. It is located at 718 E. Highway 82.

The deadline to have packages delivered on Christmas via FedEx overnight is also Friday. FedEx will not be delivering on Saturday.

EZ Mail, a shipping store in Denison, will be open until 5:30 on Friday. The location can ship packages from UPS and FedEx.

The deadline for the United States Postal Service to get packages delivered by Christmas is Thursday for First Class and Priority Mail service. Priority Mail Express Service deadline is Saturday in order to have packages delivered by Monday.

Albert Ruiz, Dallas representative for USPS, said local post masters were all out delivering packages as he called the week before Christmas “all hands on deck.” Local post offices each have their own business hours. Check with individual offices for times.
