Oklahoma Highway Patrol officials said at least one person was killed Tuesday morning after three semi trucks collided in Durant.
In a social media post published shortly after 6:15 a.m., OHP said traffic homicide investigators and commercial enforcement troopers were on their way to assist Durant Police at the intersection of U.S. Route 69 and Choctaw Road, where the crash occurred.
An OHP representative said the investigation was being led by the Durant Police Department. A message left with Durant Police was not immediately returned Tuesday morning.
Images included with the social media post showed the mangled cab of a red semi and what appeared to be foggy conditions at the scene of the crash.
