Burglary of a building — An officer was dispatched Dec. 7 to a business in the 1900 block of East Lamar Street in reference to a burglary. The owner stated that a suspect or suspects burglarized the building, stole vehicle keys and stole three vehicles that were in the parking lot. A report for burglary of a building was generated.


Accident involving injury — Officers investigated a hit-and-run collision Dec. 5 near the intersection of East Lamar and Colbert. A crash report was completed and a report for accident involving injury was filed.


Theft of property — A female reporting party made telephone contact with the public safety administrator Nov. 29. She reported that a theft took place at a business located in the 4100 block of North U.S. Hwy. 75.


Found property — An officer was dispatched Dec. 5 to the 2700 block of U.S. Hwy. 75 in reference to found property. A female reporting party stated she found property inside her vehicle not belonging to her. A found property report was generated.


Assault — Officers responded Dec. 5 to a disturbance in the 4800 block of Timberview Drive. A victim reported being punched in the back of the head and bitten by the suspect. A report was generated for assault causing bodily injury/family member.


Criminal trespass — An officer was dispatched Dec. 5 to the 4000 block of Dripping Springs in reference to a possible burglary of a building. An investigation was completed and it was determined that no property had been taken. Evidence was collected and a report for criminal trespass was created.


Possession — An officer assisted detectives Dec. 5 with a traffic stop in the 200 block of West Olive Street. He deployed his K9 partner to open air sniff around the vehicle. The K9 alerted on the vehicle and contraband was located inside the vehicle. A report was generated for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1, greater than 1 gram and less than 4 grams.


Burglary of a habitation — An officer was dispatched Dec. 5 to the 4500 block of Marshall Street. in reference to a burglary. A female victim stated that her home was broken into while she was away. She said the suspect or suspects stole approximately $400 in property. The investigation is ongoing.


Possession — An officer conducted a traffic stop Dec. 5 near the intersection of Austin and West Olive Streets. The male driver was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and marijuana. He was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, no insurance, no license plate light and expired registration.


Terroristic threat — A reporting party stated Dec. 7 from a business in the 4700 block of U.S. Hwy. 75 that an employee made threats to harm other employees, placing fear in some of them. A report was generated for terroristic threat.


Fraud — A female complainant made telephone contact Dec. 7 with the public safety administrator in reference to fraud occurring in her checking account. She reported that an unknown suspect(s) had made an unauthorized withdrawal from her checking account with an online transaction. The transaction occurred at a business located in the 200 block of North Travis Street. A report was filed for fraudulent use/possession identifying information, fewer than 5 items.


Possession — Officers stopped a vehicle Dec. 7 for a traffic violation in the 600 block of East Lamar Street. It was learned that the male driver had an active warrant for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces/bail forfeiture. The driver was taken into custody for the warrant. During a consent search of the vehicle, officers located a glass pipe, which later tested positive for methamphetamine. The suspect was transported to the Grayson County Jail and booked in for his outstanding warrant and possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 1, less than 1 gram.


Burglary of a vehicle — A male complainant made telephone contact Dec. 7 with the public safety administrator to report a theft in the 1400 block of Cresent Drive. He stated that property was stolen from his unlocked vehicle while it was parked on the driveway of his residence.


Burglary of a vehicle — An officer was dispatched Dec. 8 to the 2200 block of North Crockett Street. in reference to the burglary of a vehicle. The officer completed an investigation which revealed that a wallet and money had been stolen from the unlocked vehicle. A report was generated for burglary of a vehicle.


Threat/intimate material — Officers were dispatched Dec. 8 in response to a report of harassment. A female victim stated that her ex-boyfriend sent her new boyfriend a nude picture of her without her permission. A report for publish/threat to publish intimate visual material was generated.


Theft of property — An officer was dispatched Dec. 8 to the 4800 block of Texoma Parkway in reference to a theft. The victim stated that a patron stole an electronic notification board from the lobby of a business. A report for theft of property from $100-750 was filed. The investigation continues.
