One week after hiring Kent Sharp as the new president of the Sherman Economic Development Corp., that organization’s board of directors will hold a regular meeting at noon Tuesday to discuss economic development projects and more.

Though Sharp was in attendance for last week’s special meeting, he is not expected to be present for Tuesday’s regular SEDCO board meeting, which will see eight economic development projects discussed, as well as five real property projects and personnel matters during a closed executive session.

Following the executive session, the board will return to an open meeting to take any actions deemed necessary and to receive a budget comparison, economic barometer report and business retention and expansion update from SEDCO staff.
