The Texas Department of Transportation is advising motorists in both Grayson and Fannin counties to be aware of planned road improvement projects, which may impact traffic and travel times amid the Thanksgiving holiday week.

“Please respect our work zones,” TxDOT Paris District Public Information Officer Tim McAlavy said. “Whenever you encounter one, please slow down and do pay attention. It makes things safer for everyone whether it’s you behind the wheel or one of our road crews.”

Project schedules may be affected by weather conditions or equipment issues and are subject to change.
