Accident involving damage — Dispatch received a call Sept. 29 in reference to a noise disturbance in the 800 block of East Chaffin Street. After the disturbance was addressed, a citizen reported his vehicle was hit while he was sitting in it, parked in the street. A report was taken for an accident involving damage to vehicle greater than or equaling $200.
Driving while intoxicated — Dispatch received a call Sept. 29 to report a vehicle being driven all over the roadway with the driver suspected of being intoxicated. The vehicle was located and stopped, and an investigation was conducted. The male driver was determined to be intoxicated and found to have had a previous DUI conviction in Oklahoma. The driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
Burglary of a building — Officers were dispatched Sept. 29 to the burglary of a building in the 1300 block of South Crockett Street. Upon arrival, they learned that the detached garage to a residence had been burglarized during the night and personal items had been stolen. A report was generated.
Theft — Dispatch received a call Sept. 30 in reference to a theft in the 400 block of U.S. Highway 82. Before officers’ arrival, the suspect left the scene in a white vehicle. Officers located the vehicle in the area and arrested a male suspect for theft of property less than $2,500 with two previous convictions. He was taken to the Grayson County Jail.
Driving while intoxicated — An officer conducted a traffic stop Sept. 30 in the 100 block of South Baker Park Drive. The male driver of the vehicle was suspected of being intoxicated. After an investigation was completed, the driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
Unauthorized use of vehicle — Police responded Sept. 30 to a residence in the 1800 block of West Washington Street, in reference to a stolen vehicle. An investigation revealed that a female known by the male victim took his vehicle without his consent. A report was generated for unauthorized use of a vehicle.
Assault — Dispatch received a call Sept. 30 in reference to an assault in the 2200 block of North Travis Street. An officer arrived on scene and conducted an investigation. He learned an adult claimed a juvenile had pushed her, which she found offensive. A report was generated for assault by contact family member.
Assault — Dispatch received a call Oct. 1 in reference to an assault in the 2400 block of Texoma Parkway. Officers responded and learned through their investigation that one male had punched another male. A report for assault causing bodily injury was filed.
Public intoxication — Officers were dispatched Oct. 1 to the 500 block of West Lamar Street in reference to an intoxicated person. The female suspect was located and arrested for public intoxication and transported to the Grayson County Jail.
