Texoma Marketing and Media Group will begin taking nominations this week for its inaugural 40 under 40 awards. The recognition highlights the achievements, leadership and service of burgeoning community advocates who will set the direction of the area in the coming decades.

“40 under 40 is a way to recognize those who are dedicated to their neighbors and driven to serve,” TMMG Senior Group Publisher Nate Rodriguez said.

To be eligible, individuals must live or work in Grayson County and be under the age of 40. Nominating forms will include questions about the individual’s service and involvement in the community and open-ended questions about why they should be considered.

The honorees will be chosen from the nominations by a panel of local TMMG leaders and business and community leaders from throughout Grayson County. Nominees will be considered based upon civic contributions, career accomplishments and letters of reference or recommendation.

“We’re honored to facilitate the recognition of the men and women who will continue Grayson County’s skyrocketing trajectory for decades to come,” Rodriguez said.

The honorees will be announced in a magazine and at a luncheon in October. Look for more details in the coming days on how you can nominate Grayson County’s best and brightest.
