A shooting outside a Pottsboro bar back April has left a man facing an indictment this week.
Interim Grayson County District Attorney Brett Smith said grand jurors this week indicted Dwight Travis, 32, on two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one count of deadly conduct.
The indictments are formal charges and are no an indication of guilt.
Previously published reports show that Travis was arrested on April 21 after deputies were called to the Anchors Up Club and Grill in Pottsboro. Once there, deputies found two men fighting over a rifle, a report from GCSO Capt. Sarah Bigham said. Bigham said though deputies were unable to determine how many shots were fired by Travis, no one was injured by the shots.
Travis could not be immediately reached Thursday morning for a comment on the indictment.
