Sherman police are investigating an incident that led to a stabbing at a movie theater in Sherman Friday night.

SPD Sgt. Brett Mullen said the police were called to Cinemark at around 7:22 p.m. Friday. Once there, officers found one customer had injuries not believed to be life threatening after having been stabbed during an argument between two customers.

No one has been arrested, Mullen said. And the police are not releasing any names or other identifying information about the people involved. Mullen said the department has officers on duty at the theater every weekend but situations like the one on Friday are uncommon.
