Criminal mischief — An unknown male and female entered an establishment on May 4 located in the 100 block of South Throckmorton Street. They were involved in a verbal disagreement and the male subject became more agitated and departed through the front door. When he departed, he threw the glass door open so forcefully that it caused the door to break off its hinges and fall to the ground. Both subjects departed the area before police arrival. The investigation continues.
Burglary of a building — An officer was dispatched on April 28 to a business in the 1800 block of Texoma Parkway in reference to a burglary. It was determined that an unknown suspect(s) had entered an office of the business and taken money. A report was completed for burglary of a building and the case is under investigation.
Driving with license invalid — An officer stopped a vehicle on May 1 for a traffic offense in the 2300 block of Pecan Grove Road. The male driver was driving with an invalid driver’s license and was found to have numerous suspensions and previous convictions for driving while license invalid. The suspect was arrested for driving while license invalid with previous conviction/suspension/with no proof of financial responsibility and taken to the Grayson County Jail.
Driving while intoxicated — An officer was flagged down on May 1 after a minor accident occurred in the 200 block of South Travis. While information was being exchanged about the accident, the driver who caused the accident was suspected of being intoxicated. After an investigation was completed, the driver, who caused the accident, was determined to be intoxicated and was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
Possession — Officers made contact on May 2 with a male in the 4100 block of Texoma Parkway. The male suspect was found to be in possession of 0.8 grams of methamphetamine and was arrested for possession of a controlled substance less than one gram.
Criminal mischief — A female victim reported on May 2 that her vehicle was damaged in the 500 block of North Highland Avenue by her ex-boyfriend. A report for criminal mischief from $750-$2,500 was generated.
Criminal trespass — While an officer was investigating a criminal mischief report in the 500 block of North Highland Avenue, he was notified by a security guard about a person who had received a criminal trespass for the property. The suspect was caught on video and a report was taken for criminal trespass.
Criminal mischief — An officer was dispatched on May 4 in response to a complaint in the 500 block of South Hazelwood Street. A male complainant stated that his roommate intentionally threw a rock and broke a house window and a window on his vehicle sometime during the night. A report for criminal mischief from $100-$750 was generated.
Theft of property — Dispatch received a call on May 4 in reference to missing license plates in the 5200 block of Texoma Parkway. Officers arrived and observed that the license plates had been stolen off of a work vehicle. A report for theft under $100 was filed.
Walking on the highway with traffic — Officers were in the 2700 block of Texoma Parkway on May 4 when they observed a male walking on the highway with the flow of traffic. The male subject was arrested.
Assault by threat — An officer was dispatched on May 5 to a disturbance at a residence in the 1700 block of South Gribble Street. A female victim stated that she was verbally threatened by another female. A report for assault by threat was generated.
Disturbance — A female victim stated on May 4 that she was assaulted by a juvenile suspect in the residence in the 1600 block of West Walker. The suspect was taken to JDC for assault causing bodily injury/family member. The case was filed with JDC.
Disturbance — Officers responded on May 4 to a noise disturbance in the 3800 block of Texoma Parkway. A male suspect was arrested for disorderly conduct-language.
Theft/false report — An officer responded on May 5 to a call reporting a stolen vehicle in the 1000 block of West Bullock Street. However, the vehicle was located at an accident scene, and a witness advised that the caller was the driver. A charge of false report to the police will be forwarded to the Grayson County District Attorney’s Office.
Disturbance — Officers responded on May 6 to a female victim on MacArthur Boulevard. She stated that a known suspect assaulted her, and she had visible injuries. The suspect had departed prior to officers’ arrival. The case will be forwarded to the Grayson County District Attorney’s Office.
Aggravated assault — A female victim stated on May 6 that her sister came after her and said she would kill her. The sister was arrested for aggravated assault date/house/family/with a weapon.
Theft — A victim stated on May 7 that an unknown suspect took a lawn mower and trailer in the 1600 block of South 8th Avenue. The lawn mower and trailer were located, and the investigation is ongoing.
