Theft of firearm — A male victim stated on April 27 that his vehicle was taken to a local auto dealership for repairs and service and when the vehicle was picked up, a handgun was missing from the glove box of the vehicle.
Possession —A vehicle was stopped on April 26 for a traffic violation in the 200 block of East Highway 69. A female suspect was arrested for an outstanding Grayson County warrant and for possession of a controlled substance.
Theft — A female complainant stated on April 27 that someone took jewelry, tools and coins from her residence in the 100 block of Circle Drive. Officers will be following up on leads.
Burglary of a vehicle — A male victim reported on April 27 that an unknown suspect(s) removed a chainsaw from the bed of his pickup.
Assault — A female victim stated on April 27 that she was assaulted while outside her residence the 100 block of North Imperial, by someone she knows. The case has been referred to municipal court.
Assault — A male victim stated on April 27 that he was assaulted by a relative in the 100 block of North Imperial after getting into a verbal altercation about another relative. The suspect left the scene prior to the officer’s arrival. The investigation will continue and a case will be presented to the Grayson County District Attorney’s Office.
Welfare concern — Officers responded on April 28 to a welfare concern. It was reported that a person was walking into traffic in the 3600 block of West FM 120. A female suspect was arrested for public intoxication.
Driving while intoxicated — A vehicle was stopped on April 28 for a traffic violation in the 600 block of North U.S. Highway 75. The female driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated second and driving while license invalid.
Driving while intoxicated — A vehicle was stopped on April 29 for a traffic violation in the 1100 block of South Austin. The male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
Criminal mischief — A complainant stated on April 30 that an unknown suspect(s) threw a rock and broke the windshield of a vehicle in the 700 block of West Chestnut.
Theft of property — Dispatch received a call on April 22 in reference to a camper that was parked in the middle of the road in the 1900 block of Crockett Street. Officers arrived and determined that the camper had been stolen. A report for theft of property was generated and the case is under investigation.
Possession — An officer was dispatched on April 22 to the 1600 block of LaSalle Drive in reference to a welfare concern. The caller reported a male possibly passed out in a parking lot. The officer located the vehicle and the subject who was in it. The subject was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and was placed under arrest for possession of a controlled substance less than 28 grams.
Criminal mischief — An officer was dispatched on April 24 to a construction site in reference to criminal mischief. An unknown suspect(s) entered the location and damaged equipment. A report for criminal mischief from $750 to $2,500 was completed.
Assault — An officer responded on April 25 to a female complainant in the 800 block of South Heritage Parkway. She stated that her common-law spouse pushed her and that she pushed him. The male advised that he was not pushed and did not push the female. A report was filed for assault by contact/family violence.
Possession — An officer conducted a traffic stop on April 27 in the 1500 block of Texoma Parkway. When the officer approached the vehicle, the driver advised there was contraband inside the vehicle. The driver was not arrested, and a report for possession of marijuana less than two ounces was filed.
Theft of property — An unknown person committed a theft of a utility trailer valued at $1,000 between April 1 and April 26. The trailer was located in the 300 block of Dorset Drive. A report was generated for theft of property from $750 to $2,500.
Theft of property — A male complainant made contact on April 27 with the public safety administrator in reference to a stolen auto part. The complainant stated that an unknown suspect stole a part from his vehicle while it was parked at a business in the 3300 block of Texoma Parkway.
Unauthorized use of vehicle — An officer responded on April 27 to a disturbance in the 3600 block of U.S. Highway 75. A female stated that a male took her vehicle and ended up at this location. She also claimed that the male poured sugar into the fuel filler neck of the vehicle. A report was generated for unauthorized used of vehicle and criminal mischief.
Theft of property — Officers were dispatched on April 27 to the 400 block of U.S. Highway 82 East in reference to a theft. Upon arrival and investigation, it was determined that the suspect had fled prior to officer arrival. Subsequently, the suspect was located and admitted to the theft. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.
