All of Grayson County's Tax Offices will be closed on April 25. Grayson County Tax Assessor Collector Bruce Stidham said the offices will be closed while the staff participates in training. Notices about the closure have been posted on the doors at the Grayson County Courthouse.
“We apologize for any inconvenience that this might cause anyone,” Stidham said before noting the offices will be open again on April 26 at 8 a.m.
Some of the training the staff will undergo, Stidham said, will be security related and will be offered by Grayson County Sheriff Tom Watt. In addition to Watt, the staff will also hear presentations by Debbie Estes on customer service.
Stidham said the training is all geared to help the staff improve what they do and the service that they provide to Grayson County residents.
