Denison Police arrested a 31-year-old man on a burglary charge late Sunday night after he allegedly broke into a pharmacy.
Lt. Mike Eppler said officers were dispatched to the 2300 block of West Morton Street shortly before 10:45 p.m. after they were notified of an alarm activation at Med Choice Pharmacy. Eppler added that someone in the shopping complex also saw the man enter through the business’s entrance and phoned police.
“He broke out the glass on the front door,” Eppler said.
The Denison Police lieutenant said officers arrived on scene, found the man in the parking lot and took him into custody without incident. Eppler said the man was not in possession of any stolen items when officers made contact with him and it was unclear what he intended to take from the store.
