Theft — A complainant reported on Dec. 26 that a suspect stole the air/water service pump from a local convenience store in the 4400 block of North U.S. Highway 75.
Aggravated assault/family violence — A male victim reported on Dec. 27 that his wife was acting very belligerently in the 1700 block of Ridgewood and threw a concrete brick at him, which narrowly missed him. The female suspect was arrested for aggravated assault/family violence.
Theft — A female complainant reported on Dec. 22 that a suspect stole a Bluetooth speaker from her residence in the 400 block of Maple Row. Officers will be following up on leads.
Suspicious person — Officers responded on Dec. 22 to a call of a suspicious person in the 1200 block of West Sears. A male suspect and a female suspect were arrested for public intoxication.
Theft — Store personnel stated on Dec. 23 that two males pushed a cart full of items out of a store in the 400 block of North U.S. Highway 75, without paying for the items. When the suspects were approached and told to come back inside the store, they fled on foot. The investigation will continue.
Domestic disturbance — An officer responded on Dec. 23 to a domestic disturbance call in the 500 block of East Morton. The female victim stated her roommate, who appeared to be intoxicated, got into an argument with her, made threats and assaulted her. The suspect was arrested for assault causing bodily injury/family violence.
Criminal mischief — A male complainant stated on Dec. 24 that a suspect broke some eggs on a window in his house and on the hood of his vehicle.
Assault causing bodily injury — A female victim reported on Dec. 24 that she and her boyfriend got into an argument over a phone in the 700 block of West Morgan, and that he assaulted her several times. The suspect was not on scene when officers arrived. The case was sent to the Grayson County District Attorney’s Office and the investigation will continue.
Criminal mischief — A male complainant stated on Dec. 25 that a suspect damaged the windshield of his vehicle in the 3400 block of Ansley Boulevard, with possibly a rock and golf balls.
Suspicious person — Officers responded on Dec. 26 to the call of a suspicious person in a vehicle in the 1100 block of South Austin. The male suspect was arrested for public intoxication and sleeping in public.
Unauthorized use of a vehicle — A female complainant reported on Dec. 26 that she loaned her Hyundai automobile to a friend in the 1600 block of South Austin, and that the person will not return the vehicle to her. The investigation will continue.
Traffic stop — A vehicle was stopped on Dec. 27 for a traffic violation in the 200 block of North Tone. The male driver was arrested for driving while license invalid/enhanced.
Public intoxication — Officers responded on Dec. 27 to a report of an intoxicated person in the 700 block of U.S. Highway 75. The male suspect was arrested for public intoxication.
Driving while intoxicated — A complainant reported on Dec. 24 that a vehicle crashed into his fence in the 2000 block of South Dewey Avenue. An investigation was conducted and the male driver was determined to be intoxicated. The driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated, second offense.
Driving while intoxicated — Dispatch received a call on Dec. 24 to report a possible intoxicated driver in the 3900 block of North U.S. Highway 75. Officers located the vehicle near that location and stopped it. The driver admitted to drinking alcohol and to being intoxicated, and was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
