One person was hospitalized Wednesday following a two-vehicle collision in Sherman.
An officer with the Sherman Police Department, who declined to provide his name to the Herald Democrat, said it was unclear what led to the wreck in the 2200 block of Texoma Parkway, but said the collision involved a northbound Nissan sedan and southbound Dodge Charger. The officer said the driver of the Charger was transported by ambulance to an area hospital with unknown injuries but added the hospitalization was likely a “precaution.” The driver of the Nissan was not injured and both vehicles were towed away from the scene.
Emergency crews temporarily reduced traffic in the southbound lane as the scene was cleared. The officer said the collision remains under investigation.
