Burglary — Officers responded on May 19 to the 400 block of West McLain Drive in reference to the burglary of a vehicle. Upon arrival, they found a suspect being detained by the homeowner. The suspect gave the officers a false name. When his true identity was determined, he was arrested and charged with burglary of a vehicle and failure to identify.


Criminal mischief — An officer responded on May 19 to a male complainant who reported that sometime on the morning of May 19 an unknown suspect shattered the glass door of a business located in the 4800 block of Texoma Parkway.


Forgery — Officers responded on May 19 to a call in reference to a person attempting to pass a fake $100 bill. Upon arrival, they determined that the bill was, in fact, fake. A report for forgery government/national instrument/money/security was filed.


Criminal mischief — Officers responded on May 19 to a residence in the 2700 block of South Travis. The complainant stated that a suspect let the air out of all four tires of a family member’s vehicle. A report for criminal mischief was filed.


Theft — An officer made telephone contact on May 19 with a female complainant. She stated that she had left her cellphone in a shopping cart of a business located in the 4100 block of North U.S. Highway 75. Upon returning, she was told that a male suspect had claimed the phone as his and had left the store with it. A report for theft was filed.


Burglary of a vehicle — An officer made telephone contact on May 19 with a female complainant. She stated that during the night of May 18, a suspect removed a particulate filter from her vehicle while it was parked in the 500 block of North Highland Avenue. A report for theft was generated.


Burglary — An officer made telephone contact on May 19 with a female resident. She stated that a suspect had gained entry to her vehicle while it was parked in the 1400 block of Park Place and had removed a backpack and three pairs of athletic shoes. A report for burglary was filed.


Burglary — Officers responded on May 19 to a female complainant who stated her car had been burglarized sometime during the night while it was parked in the 2200 block of Kevin Court. A report was filed and the investigation is ongoing.


Burglary — An officer was dispatched on May 19 to the 1100 block of South Willow. Upon arrival, it was determined that a suspect had entered a vehicle without consent and stolen property. A report for burglary of a vehicle was filed, and the investigation is ongoing.


Assault — Officers responded on May 19 to the 100 block of East Vietnam Veterans Parkway in reference to an assault between two adults. Upon arrival, it was determined that the male had assaulted the female causing pain. He was arrested for assault causing bodily injury to a family member.


Burglary — An officer responded on May 20 to the 600 block of South Hazlewood. Once there, it was determined that a suspect had entered the residence and stolen tools. A report for burglary of a habitation was filed, and the investigation is ongoing.


Forgery — An officer was dispatched on May 20 to the 300 block of South Travis. Upon arrival, it was determined that suspects had fraudulently possessed and used bank information to forge checks. A report was taken, and the case is under investigation.


Evading arrest — Officers observed a male in the 300 block of South Heritage Parkway on May 21. The officers knew he had outstanding warrants, and attempted to speak with him. The suspect fled on foot, but was caught and placed under arrest for the warrants and for the enhanced offense of evading arrest with a previous conviction.


Robbery — Officers were dispatched on May 21 to the 400 block of East U.S. Highway 82. Upon their arrival, a complainant reported he had been assaulted and that money had been taken from him. A report for robbery was filed, and the investigation is ongoing.
