A driver was uninjured after a vehicle veered off of U.S. Highway 82 and rolled over Sunday evening outside Sherman.
The car was traveling westbound on Highway 82, west of Sherman and Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper Mark Tackett said the car approached a slow-moving vehicle that had its hazard lights on, also traveling westbound. At about 7:30 p.m., the car veered to the left to avoid colliding with the second vehicle.
The car exited the roadway to the left side, and it slid into the cable barriers in the median, Tackett said. The vehicle then rolled after colliding with the barrier. Emergency personnel responded to the scene, and the sole vehicle occupant was not injured. DPS troopers investigated the crash.
