Grayson County leaders will spend part of their meeting Tuesday hearing concerns about a concrete plant set to be built in Van Alstyne. Mike Mitchell is on the Grayson County Commissioners Court agenda to address the planned plant. Lucky’s Redi-Mix has applied with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to be allowed to open a plant on Willy Vester Road in Van Alstyne.
The court meets Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Grayson County Courthouse in Sherman.
Commissioners will also discuss appointing Tom Bean Mayor Sherry Howard to the Grayson County Child Welfare Board.
County leaders will also consider awarding annual bids for aggregate, gravel and red rock, a kind of decomposed granite gravel.
The public is invited to attend the meeting.
