The Sherman Independent School District’s board of trustees will meet at 5 p.m. Tuesday at the district’s service center, located at 2701 Loy Lake Road.
The publicly staffed, Citizens Advisory Committee is poised to present the board with its recommendations for a $308 million bond package and multi-project, construction plan designed to address Sherman ISD’s aging facilities and accommodate its growing student population. The committee is expected to ask that the board review the plans for roughly one month and approve them by mid-February as to comply with deadlines for a May bond election.
The board of trustees is also scheduled to discuss the 2017-2018 district budget and technology report, and recognize, various campuses, staff and community partners.
