A Sherman business owner reported to police that an ex-employee stole between $150,000 and $300,000.
Sherman Police took a report from the owner of Check-N-Title Loans at 2303 Texoma Parkway on Friday. The owner told police that the ex-employee allegedly took money from the business over a period of time, according to the police report. A report was filed for theft of property greater than or equal to $150,000 and less than $300,000.
Police Sgt. D.M. Hampton said the investigation is in its early stages, but the case is active and ongoing. The owner of Check-N-Title Loans declined to comment on the case.
