A 72-year-old victim reported his assisted mobility device was stolen over the weekend from his work location at Midway Mall.
Sometime between Friday afternoon and Saturday morning, a suspect took the motorized chair from the victim’s place of work at the mall, according to a Sherman Police report. Police Sgt. D.M. Hampton said the assisted mobility device was left inside the booth, and when the owner returned, it was gone.
A theft report was placed to Sherman Police at about 9 a.m. Monday. The motorized chair was maroon and gray in color and valued at $400, according to the report.
