Michael Maynard Givens died Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at Baylor Heart Hospital in Plano.

He was born February 12, 1955 in Watertown, South Dakota. He graduated from Western High School in Anaheim, Ca.

Mike married Joyce Reatherford on January 10, 1997. He was a truck driver for 42 years and he enjoyed watching NASCAR races.

Surviving are his wife, Joyce Givens of Denison; mother, Marlene Wendelsdorf of Mississippi; daughter, Monique Givens of Ca; son, James Givens of Ca; step-daughter, Leslie Butterworth of Denison; stepson, Roger Robertson of Sherman; step-daughter, Marsha Phillips of Madill, Ok; 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are two sisters, Maggi Davis of Nevada, Melony Remel of Mississippi; a brother, Lon Givens of Ca and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

And last but not least. he is survived by his loving dog, Rami.
