1937-2023

Maxine Crabtree Ross was born August 20, 1937, to C.R. and Lois Wright Crabtree. She was the second of six children. Maxine passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, January 7, 2023, after suffering several years with

Alzheimers. Maxine married James T. Ross on May 11, 1957. They were married almost 44 years when he passed away in April 2001. She is survived by brothers, Dan (Sue) Crabtree, Bill (Mary) Crabtree, Cecil (Kay) Crabtree, and Jack (Mary) Crabtree and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, C.R. and Lois Crabtree, husband, James Ross, and brother, Clayton Crabtree. A memorial service will be held in her honor at 10;30 on Friday, January 13, at the Central Church of Christ in Denison.
