Ken Witt, who passed away a few days ago at the age of 73, was one of the most trusted and accomplished measurers that the Texas Big Game Awards, the Pope and Young Club, and the Boone and Crockett Club ever had. In addition to scoring multiple world records, he scored many of the biggest bucks tagged down through the years by bowhunters here in Grayson County. More than that, the man of integrity and faith was a great friend to many here in Texomaland, including retired Grayson County game warden Dale Moses, who remembered him fondly earlier in the week.
