Lydia Pearl Adams

SHERMAN – Lydia Pearl Fish was born in Archer City, Texas on February 23, 1938 to Archie and Ollie (Brewer) Fish. On June 9, 1955, she met and married the most handsome man she knew, George Adams; he preceded her in death on March 19, 1996.

After being widowed, she began working at Pro-Cuts and was affectionately renamed ‘Minnie Pearl’ by those who worked alongside her for ten years. She enjoyed all kinds of puzzles, watching football and sharing stories. As a loving Mother and Mema, Pearl gave her best to the family she loved. She is survived by her sister, Yvonne Cargill; three children, LaDonna Perkins, Brian (Jessica) Adams and Melinda Dusold; grandchildren, Angela (Shawn) Land, Steve (Whitney) Perkins, Krystal (Jared) Hunter and Dezire Dusold. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.

Pearl was preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings, Irene Cox, Robert Fish, Patsy Traylor, and grandson, Brian Adams Jr. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 PM on Friday, April 29th at the Cedarlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Sherman.
