Lois Means Hunt

Lois Means Hunt, 83, of Denison, Texas was born on October 19, 1938, in Denison, Texas. Lois passed away Sunday, May 8, 2022, surrounded by her loving daughters by her side.

Lois loved having Sunday dinners with her daughters, grandchildren, and her great grandchildren. She loved being outdoors and still loved mowing her yard on her riding lawn mower.

Lois had a career in banking all of her life and loved it. She loved helping people in our community and loved them all as they did her. She started out at Denison Federal Savings and Loan. She retired in 2000 to be able to come home and take care of the love of her life James L. Hunt when he fell ill and eventually passed in 2002.

Lois is survived by her three daughters, all of Denison, Texas; Cari Barton and husband, Darren, Leslie Nunley, and Kellie Doshier and husband, Doss, grandchildren; Justin Pennington, Emily Walston and husband, Alex, Amber Doshier, DJ Doshier and wife, Shelby, and Tabitha Coffey and husband, Conner, great grandchildren; Beau Walston, Bennett Walston, Karson Pennington, Ryland Pennington, Axel Pennington, Elijah Foster, Adleigh Foster, Cole Doshier and Carter Doshier.

Visitation will be at Fisher Funeral Home in Denison, Texas from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, May 13, 2022. Funeral service will be Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Fisher Funeral Home. Internment will follow at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Alex Walston, Charlie Means, Doss Doshier, Clay Hunt, Conner Coffey, and DJ Doshier
