Lois Etchieson Bell, born on June 29, 1925, to Reverend William Ross and Gertrude Davis in Sunkist, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at Texoma Medical Center on June 9, 2023. Lois, a long time Cartwright, Oklahoma resident, was in convenience store management for 50 years, retiring at age 93.

Lois was preceded in death by husbands Roy C. Etchieson and James Bell, her parents, sisters Shirley Grantham and Pat Hogan, and brother William Ross Jr. Lois is survived by brothers Herbert, Troy and Clint (and Clint’s wife Dee Davis) and sister Quannah Reed; three sons: Cleveland (Jeep) and wife Barbara, Claude and wife Linda and Michael and wife Phyllis Etchieson, grandchildren Kelly Etchieson, Tracey Powell, Tina Ward, twins LeAnn /DeAnn Etchieson, Brian Etchieson, Christopher Etchieson, Katelyn Etchieson and 9 great-grandchildren, and partner Terry Ferris.
