Hungry for More of Jesus Bible Study

Hungry for More of Jesus Bible Study will be held Tuesday, Nov. 12 at the 2 p.m. at the Menorah Ministry/Light Fellowship Church, 801 West Owings Street, Denison. This month’s guest speaker will be Rosa Niblet, First Lady of Greater Harvest North Church of Sherman.

Rosa Niblet was born in Prescott, Arkansas. She attended Bishop College of Dallas and received a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She continued her graduate work at Texas Woman’s University in DenAton, and Texas A & M University in Commerce, Texas. Mrs. Niblet retired after 35 years of teaching and continues to impact the lives of Texas students as a substitute teacher.

She and her husband, Bishop Charles Niblet, are the founders of Greater Harvest North Church. They have been married for 55 years and have been pastoring for over 30 years. We invite everyone to come and partake of the anointed teaching of this dynamic woman of God.

-Hungry for More of Jesus Bible Study was founded by Minister Norma Milton in 1974 and is now under the direction of Minister Effie Bowden. The bible study is open to the public and those seeking to experience more of Jesus.

Thanksgiving box giveaway one week away

TRENTON – The New Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church and the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church will continue its annual food box give away to help grace the tables this Thanksgiving.

This distribution will take place from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Nov. 16 at 703 Augustus Street in Trenton.

This food ministry is more than 30 years old.
