Flanagan benefit

Flanagan benefit

GAINESVILLE — A gospel music benefit for Johnny and Nelda Flanagan will be held this Friday at the State Theater, 200 East California Street, in Gainesville. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the program begins at 7 p.m. A freewill love offering will be received.

The Flanagans have been in full-time gospel music evangelism for 40 years. John Flanagan has written hundreds of gospel songs and the couple has ministered in hundreds of churches and other venues across the United States. On Feb. 16, the Flanagans’ home between Whitesboro and Gainesville burned. The structure and its contents were destroyed. Proceeds will be used to help the couple recover from the loss.

Anyone unable to attend the concert but wanting to make a love offering can send it to Central Baptist Church, P.O. Box 247, Whitesboro, TX 76273, designated for the Flanagans.
