Classmates begin scholarship drive

To continue a "lasting legacy" in the community, the Denison High School class of 1975 reunion committee has kicked-off a donation drive to create an endowed scholarship at Grayson College. The class already has a brick at the Eisenhower Memorial, a living tree and marker at Forest Park and a cornerstone brick at the newly-renovated Munson Stadium.

The goal for the scholarship drive is $25,000. All class members and anyone else interested are encouraged to make a donation in any amount. The donations are tax deductible as allowed by law and can be made in several ways. Checks should be made out to the Grayson College Foundation with "DHS Class of ‘75 Scholarship" written on the memo line. The checks can be mailed to 6101 Grayson Drive, Denison, Texas 75020. Contributions for the scholarship can also be made via credit card at the Grayson College foundation website. Instructions for donating online can be found on the DHS class of 1975 scholarship page at www.facebook.com/DHS75Scholarship.

Once the scholarship is funded, any DHS or Pathways graduate will be eligible. Scholarship criteria and qualifications are available upon request.
