DHS Class of 1994 reunion

The Denison High School Class of 1994 is planning a reunion for June 21, 7 p.m., at Loose Wheels Texas in Denison. There will be a $5 cover charge and all attendees are responsible for their own food and drinks.

Per reunion organizers, formal invitations will not be sent. Instead, they are using social media and word-of-mouth to let classmates know of the event. Youth program on trees

Trees will be the topic of Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge’s "Youth First" program on March 1. The free program is for youngsters ages 4 to 12 and will run from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.

Separate activities will be offered for two age groups. Children ages 4 to 7 must be accompanied by a parent or grandparent and will meet in the Friends of Hagerman audio visual classroom at the refuge. Children ages 8 to 12 will gather in the refuge’s Visitor Center. Both program will include information on the importance of trees and how they grow, along with hands-on nature activities. Program leaders will be Ginger Mynatt and Martha Floyd.
