SHERMAN — Trinity Lutheran Church in Sherman has recently inaugurated its new discussion group, Lifetree Café. The group meets on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. at the church.

“Lifetree Café provides a weekly gathering where people can have open, honest conversations about current topics of life and faith,” church office manager Kathy Manning said in an email. “Each gathering features a video-driven, real-life story that will make you think, laugh and make sense of the world.”

Admission to the one hour sessions is free and simple snacks and beverages are available.

“Everything from politics to prayer will be featured,” Manning said. “Think of it as a live, local talk show — with an inspirational twist.”

For information, call Manning at 903-893-3906 or email trinitylutheran1@cableone.net. The church is located at 1515 N. Travis St. in Sherman.
