DENISON — The Rev. Thomas Squires will be the guest speaker when Red River Unitarian Universalist Church gathers at 11:15 on Sunday for its morning assembly. His theme will be, “Letting Go: Steps to Wholeness.” His presentation will “explore ways people can declutter their spiritual life, within a Unitarian Universalist context, in order to experience a path to wholeness.”

The morning begins with meditation and quiet reflection at 9 a.m. The Adult Forum meets at 10 a.m. to continue exploring, “Native Peoples of North America.”

The church’s Green Team will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday to outline a 2017-2018 strategy for projects aimed at making the church campus more green.

The Shelter Team will meet at 5 p.m. Thursday to prepare and deliver supper to the residents and staff at the Grayson County Shelter.

The church is located at 515 North Burnett Avenue in Denison.
