Leota Marcetas (Marci) Zimlich, 83 yrs. of Bells went to be with her Heavenly Father on November 23, 2022 (the 9th anniversary of her husband’s passing). She was traveling to spend Thanksgiving with family in Tennessee.

Marci is survived by her four children, Julius David Zimlich, Gaylon Sue (Jeff) Pearson, Kyle Earl (Maria) Zimlich, Darrin Heath (Erin) Zimlich; her grandchildren, Vanessa (Kiel) LeBlanc, Brett (Fenny) Massolia, Alex (Kari) Pearson, Brittany (Eric) Kegley, Keri (Mark) Gonzalez, Jared Zimlich, Zoe Zimlich, Erica Zimlich, Grant Zimlich, and Wilson Zimlich; great-grandchildren, Kenzie Massolia, Honor Massolia, Madden Massolia, and Sawyer LeBlanc; Brothers, Gail Berg, Leon Berg, and Mel Berg. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emil and Helen Berg; and Brother, Wayne Berg.

Marci was born in Guymon, Oklahoma on March 23, 1939. She raised her family in Texas and Michigan and spent the last 28 years on their small ranch in Bells, Tx. Marci was an accountant and owned Martha’s Miniatures, specializing in beautiful dresses for young girls.

Marci’s wishes were for her body to be donated to research and science. The family will celebrate Marci’s life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Marci would want memorial donations to go The Lupus Foundation.
