1963-2023

Kenneth Wayne Childs, 59, of Denison, left us peacefully on February 12, 2023 at Texoma Medical Center. He was born on July 17, 1963 in Denison, Tx to Willie Hendrix and Elizabeth Childs. Kenneth loved his family and friends and did whatever he could for anyone. He loved to cook, fish, and crack open a cold one. He was the hardest worker, never once taking a sick day before he was disabled. He was a beloved father, Poppy, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.

He is survived by his children Stephanie (Childs) Love and husband Isiah of Denison, Samantha (Childs) Frank and husband Michael of Sherman, David Childs and wife Abby of Alba; grandchildren Braxton, Joshua, Allicen, Audrey, Jeweliette, Isiah, Cali, Dalton, Dakota, Jenniyah, J’Zayvion, and Emberlynn; siblings Joyce Crumby and husband Olushola, John Cox and wife Linda, Larry Cox and wife Diane, Laura Fleming and husband Archie, and Robert Earl Cox; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He is proceeded in death by his mother Elizabeth Childs, father Willie Hendrix, brother Michael Childs, sister Martha Pierce, sister Nancy Jackson, and love of his life Jennifer Childs.
