Juanita Grace Scribner, 89, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 1, 2022. Juanita was born on January 27, 1933, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, to Haskel and Maggie McWherter.
She married the love of her life Billy Jack Scribner, Sr., on November 24, 1951, in Clovis, New Mexico. The two of them eventually settled in Anna, TX.
Juanita worked for Fisher Controls, retiring after 20 plus years. She is a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Anna, TX. Juanita loved family, cooking, gardening, and taking care of her many animals.
She is survived by her daughter Amy Lynn Cundiff and husband Parrish of Gunter, TX.; sons Billy Jack Scribner and wife Carol of Howe, TX, Roy Wayne Scribner and wife Debbie of Anna, TX and Paul Wesley Scribner of Anna, TX; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; two sisters Almeda Meeks and Mary Vaught; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday April 7, 2022 at the Scoggins Funeral Home Chapel, in Van Alstyne, TX with Parrish Cundiff officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Melissa, TX. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday April 6, 2022 at Scoggins Funeral Home.
