Services for John Marshall Dudley, 47, of Sherman, who passed away at his home on Monday, March 27, will be held on Monday, April 3, 2023, 11:00 AM at Dannel Funeral Home. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at West Hill Cemetery in Sherman. Pastor Leland Samuelson will officiate. Pallbearers will be Daniel Robinson, Brittian Bang, Billy Robertson, Brandon Jarvis, Justin Wells, Kenny Rousseau, and Steve Allen.

John was born in Sherman on July 31, 1975, to John D. Dudley, Jr. and Princess (Penny) Brown. He attended schools in Sherman and worked as an industrial electrician for many years. John loved his family, especially his sons Max and Hudson. He loved baseball, soccer, riding motorcycles, and hanging out in the backyard with his friends and family. He was kind, loving, giving, and he was a very hard worker. John could light up a room especially when he laughed. He was loved by many and he will be greatly missed.

John was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents, Marshall and Dorothy Brown and John D. Dudley, Sr. and Cora Lee Sossamon. He is survived by his sons: Maximus T. and Hudson R. Dudley; brother, Michael Jason Dudley and wife Erin; mother, Princess (Penny) Brown; niece, Emerson R. Dudley; nephew, Colt M. Dudley; and several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
