John Jarvis

SHERMAN – John Adams Jarvis, a lifetime resident of Sherman, left this world unexpectedly surrounded by his loved ones on Monday, April 25th 2022, just three days after his 60th birthday. John, AKA “T-bone,” was born April 22, 1962 to the late Thomas and Jerri Jarvis. John graduated from Sherman High School then attended Texas Tech and the University of Texas before returning home to co-own and operate the Texas Laundry.

John loved reading the newspaper, sitting in his recliner watching sports and listening and dancing to music from legends Johnny Cash, Al Green and Van Morrison. He was a loyal friend, self proclaimed trash man to the ladies of Brockett street, die hard Texas Longhorn and Liverpool fan, and above all else, the greatest Dad to his biggest achievement, Kelsey. He is survived by his daughter Kelsey Jarvis, her partner DeOryen Thornton and their son Micah; his brothers David and wife Karen Jarvis and Bob and wife Kim Jarvis, sister Melissa and husband Mike Wortham; several nieces and nephews and life-long friends Chico Aleman, Scott Carter, Ross Stubber and many others who know who they are.
