The House of Eli in Sherman accepts young men, ages 18-21, who have been involved in the juvenile justice system, who are aging out of foster care, or who are homeless. The nonprofit’s mission “is to interrupt the cycle of poverty, abuse, and addiction,” that its clients have experienced according to information found on the organization’s website.
The work done by House of Eli is paid for with support from private donors and foundations.
