Monster Trail
The Denison Public Library will have its Monster Trail from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the library. The site will close at 1 p.m. that day in order to prepare for the event that event. There will be treats and activities for children. Costumes are welcome.
Sensory conscious trunk or treat
Texoma ABA will be hosting a sensory-friendly trunk or treat event at 6 p.m. Thursday. There will treats, games and activities. Costumes are welcome. Open to children of all abilities.
Trunk or treat village
The Sherman Public Library will be hosting its trunk-or-treat village starting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the library. The event is geared towards children 12 years and under. Children can wear costumes.
Fri., Oct. 24
Trunk or Treat
Brookdale Willows and the Center for Family Medicine have teamed up to host a trunk or treat for area children. The event will take place from 6-8 p.m. Oct. 24 at 3410 Post Oak Crossing and 1906 Us 82 W.
Carrus Health will also be providing games and fun. There will be lemonade, punch and cookies provided.
No public restrooms will be available.
Mystery on Main
Main Street in Denison will be the site of the Mystery on Main: Shop, Stroll and Solve the Crime night. The event begins at 5 p.m. and will involve costumers traveling to local shops to unlock a game card mystery.
Pick up a free game card at any participating business and travel through local shops to uncover clues about the suspect, location and weapon. A grand prize winner will be given a $200 downtown Denison gift card to one detective who solves the case.
Sat., Oct. 25
Boo Bash
The ShadowCats will be hosts their first boo bash this weekend. The event begins at 3 p.m. Saturday at Veteran’s Field in Sherman.
There will be a daytime vendor market, food and games, a scavenger hunt, costume contest, a pet costume contest, trick or treating and more.
Fall on the Frontier
Frontier Village and Museum in Denison will be hosting a trick-ot treat village starting at 4 p.m. Saturday. There will be carnival games, a concession stand, a fall baking contest, ghost stories, a campfire and more. Admission is $3 and includes 10 game tickets. Additional tickets are $3 for 10 or $5 for 20.
Monster Mast Pub Crawl
This event will include a costume contest, live music, drinks and more. The event begins at 6 p.m. in downtown Sherman and bars on the crawl include 903 Brewers, Ash and Barrel, Milieu Wine bar, Wig and Gavel and The Post.
Hocus Pocus
Texoma Roller Derby will be hosting a Hocus Pocus themed event Saturday afternoon at Kidd-Key Auditorium in Sherman. The event begins at 2 p.m. For $10 per person, individuals can participate in a costume contest, enjoy snacks and more.
Car Show
A spooky rides car show will take place Saturday at Midway Mall in Sherman. The event will include games, a DJ vendors, a car show and a trunk or treat event. This event is free and open to the public. There will be a cash prize for spookiest ride. Entry fee for the car show is $25 per car.
Halloween at Harley
Harley Davidson will be hosting a family fun day at the dealership located at 4000 N US Highway 75 in Sherman. There will be a kids costume contest, saddlebag trunk or treat, an adult costume contest, an audio and lighting contest and more. The event will be followed by bike night with live music, food trunks and more.
The fun starts at noon and will continue to 8 p.m.
Wed., Oct. 29
25 years of Fright Fest
The Sherman Police Department will host its annual Fright Fest from 6-8:30 p.m. in the Sherman High School Parking lot at 2907 W. Travis Street in Sherman.
The trunk-or-treat style event includes vendor booths set up in the parking lot presenting children with candy. Costumes are welcome.
Thurs., Oct. 30
Trunk-or-treat at the hospital
AHS Sherman Medical Center till be hosting a trunk or treat at 5 p.m. Oct. 30 at 500 N. Highland Avenue in Sherman. There will be candy, decorated trunks, music, hayrides and games and activities.
Fri., Oct. 31
Monsters on Main
Downtown Denison’s annual Monsters on Main will be held starting at 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 31. There will be a costume contest at Forest Park and trick or treating on site.
Halloween at Eisenhower
Eisenhower State Park will be hosting a Halloween themed scavenger hunt starting at 9 a.m. Oct. 31. Individuals will be tasked with finding animal skeletons hidden around the park. Bring the skeleton to Park Headquarters to claim a prize.
Park admission is free. Dress for the weather.
The park is located at 50 Park Road in Denison.
Ghosts galore
A ghost investigation will take place at Frontier Village and Museum on Halloween night. There will be event starts at 8 p.m. and tickets much be purchased in advance. Tours will take place every 20 minutes. Children under 12 years are not permitted.
