Republic Josh Marr will face Democrat Andre Luper in the fall to see who will be the next Grayson County Precinct 1 Commissioner.
Marr won the Republican nomination Tuesday in the primary runoff election by beating Scott Renfro. Marr got 1,375 votes and Renfro got 901.
In other runoff election results, Jamie Kohlmann received 3,217 votes and Pam Little received 3,0123 votes in the runoff for Republican for State Board of Education District 12.
In the race for the Republican nomination for state senator in District 30, Brent Hagenbuch received 3,596 votes and Jace Yarbrough received 2,865 votes.
In Grayson County, there was only one runoff race on the Democratic ballot.
In the race for the Democratic party nomination for District 30 State Senator, Michael Braxton received 436 votes and Dale Frey received 128.
Grayson County Elections Administration unofficial results noted 7.32 percent of the county’s 97,371 voters cast a ballot in the election.
