GCDA releases more September indictments

This week, the names of the latest group of individuals who have been indicted by the Grayson County District Attorney’s Office was released.

The office releases indictment lists several times each month.

Grand jurors look at cases presented by the District Attorney’s Office to see if there is enough probable cause to bring a case to trial. If grand jurors decide there is a sufficient amount of evidence to move the case forward to court, the person is indicted. If jurors decide there is not enough evidence to move forward, the person is no billed or not indicted.

The names of people who are no billed are not generally released to the public.

Indictments are formal charges and are not an indication of guilt.
