Garrett Wogan

Garrett was born April 6, 1997, in Grayson County to William Todd and Kelly Jean Wogan.

Garrett was preceded in death by his grandmother Patricia Spradlin. He is survived by his mother Kelly Jean

Wogan, grandfather Virgil Spradlin, uncle Tracy Spradlin and wife Derethia, uncle Stacy Spradlin, and four cousins. Also, survived by his father William Todd Wogan and Darla, and brother Craig.

Garrett attended Tom Bean Elementary School, Howe Middle School, and Howe High School. He was a member of the National Honor Society and preformed with the Theater Arts while attending Howe High School.

Garrett accepted the Lord at age 11 and was baptized at the First Baptist Church in Howe, Texas.

Garrett loved to read fiction and How-To-Make Things and liked to go deer hunting with his dad in Oklahoma.

Garrett received his Eagle Scout November 29, 2011, at age 14. His Eagle Scout project consisted of constructing as table rack and flowerbed for the First Methodist Church in Howe, Texas. As a Boy Scout he earned 27 merit Badges and 50 Miler awards.

He was voted Order of the Brotherhood by his peers. He credited his success to his faith in God, a supportive family, and leadership role models.

Garrett was 25 years old when he passed away on June 25, 2022.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Garrett at Waldo Funeral Home, 619 N Travis St, Sherman, Texas 75090, on July 2, 2022, at 1:00PM.
