Enrolment at Grayson College for the fall semester of 2024 is up by about three percent as the college kicks off the first day of classes on Monday.
A statement from the college said the enrollment was at 4,285 on Monday morning which is up by three percent over the same time last year.
Full-time students who take 15 hours will pay approximately $2,962 for tuition for the year. That does not include books, housing or meals. Students who live on campus will pay a little over $2,500 more to do so.
Students can choose to get a degree or a certificate from the various program at Grayson College. The college offers six degree paths which include: Arts & Humanities, Business & Entrepreneurship, Health Sciences, Industrial Technologies, Public Services and Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
There are also over 40 areas of study for which one can receive a certificate including: welding, cosmetology, culinary and hospitality, police academy, advanced manufacturing and cyber security to name a few.
Students who complete their studies at Grayson have the option to transfer to other colleges or universities. The most prevalent transfers from Grayson College go to Texas A&M Commerce, UNT, and SOSU.
